Harddrive is definitely a important part of your personal computer also it stores all data. Harddrive can also be known as HDD which is hard disk drive, disk drive or hard drive. The information storage capacity of hard disk drive is given by manufacturers in MB (mega bytes), GB (giga bytes), TB (tera bytes). In hard disk it is possible to store any kind of file such as video files, text file, photos, audios, word document etc. The external hard drive can also be available which can be attached to a pc externally.
In some circumstances, you may lose your important files from a hard disk. Most of the time you can not access files because of hard disk corruption. Then you can recover files from corrupt hard disk by making use of 3rd party utility software. The files can also be lost because of user mistakes for example accidental formatting of hard disk. Formatting is nothing but erasing whole data from a computer harddrive. Still you can recover files from formatted hard drive by utilizing hard disk drive recovery tool.
Let’s find some of the important scenarios through which your hard disk drive may get corrupt. Harddrive may get corrupt due to virus attack and improper shutdown of your system. In case you turned off your system without closing open applications, then your harddrive gets corrupt. The viruses may appear as a result of browsing of some third party websites and downloading contents in the unauthorized websites. The hard disk will also have corrupt due to power failure. If the harddrive gets corrupted, then all files become inaccessible.
Many times you need to format one partition or logical drive from hard disk, then you might select another partition mistakenly and it leads to your important data loss. The file loss from hard drive also occurs as a result of file system corruption. In case a file system gets corrupted, then you cannot access files from a hard drive. You can also lose data due to accidental deletion of files by utilizing “Shift + Delete” key combination and emptying the Recycle Bin. There are also some other reasons for file loss such as defragmentation failure, re-partitioning of hard disk, partition corruption, deleted files bypassing Recycle Bin because of larger size etc. Whatever may be the reason behind file loss, you’ll be able to recover them by using third party utility software including “Remo Recover (Windows) – Pro Edition” software.
Remo Recover (Windows) – Pro Edition is a powerful harddrive recovery software which can be available in market. To recover files, it scans entire hard drive within few minutes through the use of inbuilt scanning algorithm. By using this software you can recover any type of file from any kind of harddrive. This software is very useful to recover files from FAT 16, FAT 32, NTFS, NTFS5, ExtFAT partitions or drives. You may also save your disk space by compressing recovered files inside a zip archive. To recover files, first you download and install this software inside your computer. Then run the software program by double clicking on the icon.

Hard drive in a Windows machine can be partitioned based on the file system. In Windows operating system, there are generally two types of file systems. One is FAT (File Allocation Table) and the other is NTFS (New Technology File System). FAT or File Allocation Table is a legacy file system that comes with Windows XP operating system. NTFS or New Technology File System comes inbuilt with Windows Vista and Win 7 OS. However, you can convert FAT file system to NTFS easily using a set of commands.

Hard drives can be partitioned based on the file system using disk management utility present in Windows. Using this tool, it is possible to create new partitions, delete an existing partition, merge two or more partitions, etc. In windows 7 operating system while creating partitions, the default file system will be NTFS. However, you can convert, it to FAT file system. Once the partition is formatted and created with NTFS file system, it is not possible to convert it back to FAT file system, until and unless you delete the complete data or format the drive and then recreate it using FAT file system. NTFS is the most preferred and widely used file system, as is much more advanced and faster than FAT file system. The data storage and retrieval process in NTFS is much more easier and faster as compared to FAT file system. However, most of the pen drives and USB drives still come with FAT file system and if you want to convert it to NTFS, you can easily do using disk management utility.

Sometimes, while formatting the drive, the partitions may be deleted or lost due to less knowledge about usage of disk management utility. There are many reasons for formatting the hard drive. Some of the most commonly known scenarios are as follows:

Re-installing operating system: You may reinstall the operating system, when the system files get corrupt or when the computer becomes slow due to virus or malware attack. In such scenarios, while formatting the hard drive or a partition, we may accidentally delete a wrong partition resulting in loss of data

File system corruption: When FAT or NTFS file system becomes corrupt, the data present in that partition would become inaccessible or lost. In such cases, we format the partition and make it reusable.

Accidentally formatting partitions: While trying to format D: drive, you may accidentally format E: drive, resulting in loss of precious data from your computer

All the above-mentioned reasons may lead to deletion or loss of data from the hard disc drive. One of the best ways to recover lost partition is by using Remo Recovery software. The software can easily recover and restore deleted or lost data from formatted, deleted or lost partitions in Windows operating system. The software is also capable of performing NTFS data recovery and recovers all the lost or deleted data and other important files that were lost effectively and efficiently.

Mac recovery tools serve as a means to recover your deleted or lost files that was deleted due to virus attacks, hardware failure, OS crashes, power fluctuation, accidental deletion of files or emptying the trash bin unintentionally etc

Mac Hard Drive Data Recovery utility is used to recover lost files safely back to the original state. The hard drive can be divided into small units termed as “partition” and the process of dividing the hard drive into small units is called as “partitioning”. Since these partitions contain important information it would eventually drive a person to a panic state if the files are vanished. Advantages of partitioning are you can dedicate separate space for user files and the operating system. Accidental formatting the drive can make these partitions vanish. In order to recover deleted partition a truth worthy software has to be selected. There is thousands of Mac recovery software’s available over the internet careful choice has to be made as to which recovery tool to select to recover the lost data. Mac recovery software’s are intentionally designed to Recover Deleted Partition from damaged hard drives.

Feature of Mac Hard Drive Data Recovery tool

Recovers deleted files and folders from corrupted hard drives

Easy and less time consuming

Provide a simple and user friendly interface

Safe to use- should be a read only application must not modify or overwrite the original contents

Even a common man should be in the position to use and install the software without any technical assistance.

Your hard drive is not actually a “Windows XP hard drive” rather it runs a Windows XP operating system. Your hard drive is probably made by a different manufacturer but runs Windows software. Close to everyone who buys computers runs Windows operating systems unless they use a Macintosh computer. Close to everyone has deleted files on accident from within Windows XP as well. This has become a very big concern in the computer industry. More and more people are accidentally deleting files and becoming frustrated with the fact that they are not easy to be recovered. However, you can recover those files. When you delete a file the file is not permanently deleted. Meaning it is still there on the hard drive and it’s fully in tact. This provides a security blanket in case you accidentally delete a file from your Windows XP operating system. What happens is the file is displayed as deleted and the space that it occupied then is determined “free space.” However, in reality that space is still occupied by the file. The exception here is that when you save new files to the hard drive, they overwrite the old files that were deleted. This is why the files appear to be deleted and show up as free space. They’re no longer usable unless you recover them onto your computer once again. Recovering these files is fairly complex and it involves highly regarded software.

Recovering your deleted files on an Windows XP operating system can be accomplished easily and effectively with REMO software. REMO is incredibly advanced software that can perform deleted file recovery, NTFS partition recovery and Microsoft Office file recovery.

A computer may consist of hundreds of files depending on the person using it. These files will not make any sense, if they are not managed in the proper manner. This management of the files, in an organized manner is done by something called the file system. The file system manages the files in such a format, which makes maximum utilization of the available space on the computer.

Presently there are two file systems that are widely being used in computers namely FAT and NTFS. While the use of FAT file system has decreased considerably, the NTFS file system is still in wide use throughout the globe. Loss of partitions in a computer with NTFS file system might occur due to various reasons like power surge, virus attacks, loss after re-partitioning etc.

Loss of partitions might result in loss of the data present on those partitions. You can try disconnecting the affected drive from your computer, and connecting it to another healthy PC. You can subsequently save a copy of all your hard drive data onto that computer. The second, and the best option available, is to make use of a professional data recovery software for deleted partition recovery.

REMO Recover (Windows) Pro Edition software, is best suited for deleted partition recovery. The software not only lets you recover data from lost/deleted partitions, but also lets you take a disk image of the entire hard drive. It subsequently lets you recover data from the disk image that has been created.

Have you planned to give away your old computer? And are you thinking by just deleting the files on the hard drive or by performing a quick format you could remove the data permanently from the drive? Remember, the options you are planning to permanent delete the data is not just enough in stopping someone from easily recovering your sensitive information. The information might include your personal documents, photos, bank information, credit card details etc.

When you delete a file, the operating system just deletes the information about the file stored in the file system, but at the physical level the data inside the file still exists. You will come to know this if you run a data recovery program, where you would be able to see the information that you have deleted.

In order to get rid of old data you actually need to overwrite the same physical location on the hard drive several times to permanently remove the data from the hard drive. As once data gets overwritten by new file then recovering such data would become highly unfeasible.

If you are planning to clean drive completely, then there is one utility called Remo Data Sanitizer, which is an advanced disk erasing tool, which allows you to completely remove sensitive data from your hard drive or logical drives by overwriting it several times with carefully selected pattern and various international disk sanitisation standards. This utility works with Windows NT, 2000, XP and DOS.

Remo Data Sanitizer because of it’s intuitive design and a simple user interface, helps you to safely and easily erase private data from your hard drive.

FYI: You cannot erase the partition where Operating System is installed.

So if we don’t have a broken hard drive, but our files are lost or our PC won’t start up, what do we need to do? What is required is powerful third party data recovery software. Data recovery software is designed to enter a hard drive whether the PC it is on is starting up or not and recover lost data. With these programs one can recover data from any type of computer hard drive or digital storage media.

Primarily our need for data recovery help centers around file recovery. We seldom need to recover applications such as a Windows operating system as these can be reloaded from disk onto our replacement PC. But the pictures from your last vacation or your business records are far more difficult to replace, as are emails stored from over five years correspondence. Programs to recover deleted files are actually quite specialized. It almost seems as if each type of file lost requires a unique program to recover it. Fortunately this is not the case as we can divide data recovery into a few simple applications.
